There seems to be such sides when it comes to pageantry. Though just about any girl can compete in a natural system with no experience or modeling skills, this does not stand true for the Hobby Glitz pageant girl. After spending numerous time and effort to put together the "package" you want to show your stuff! As for the natural competition girl, she wants to show that she doesn't need the same "package" to win as well. So what our system offers is a chance for all contestants to choose to compete as a natural or a glitz competitor or both! Each side has different criteria they are scored on. If you choose to compete in both sides your highest scores will be used to determine placement.
Natural Competitors Rules and Scoring Criteria
Natural competitors may only wear off the rack beauty attire, meaning no custom dresses and must have a store or manufacturers tag in them. No make up for young ladies under 9yrs of age and only light age appropriate makeup for age 10-up. No fake lashes, flippers, fake teeth, or hair pieces for natural competition. There are no modeling scores.
Score Card- 1-20 First Impression, 1-20 Natural Beauty, 1-20 Personality, 1-20 Overall Appearance (attire is age appropriate, makeup and hair rules followed). Pageant walk is freestyle and X's will be on the floor to help guide contestants. Mommy's or Daddy's allowed on stage with girls under 5yrs.
Natural Photogenic- must be no smaller than 4 x 6, may be professional photo but may have no retouching. Quality of photo will not be judged.
Extra photos may be entered at additional charge and highest scoring photo will be used.
Glitz Competitors Rules and Scoring Criteria
Glitz competitors may wear custom glitz dresses of any style. Makeup and hair is full glitz and may included false lashes, flippers, hair pieces, ect. There will be modeling scores and contestants may model front or back T whichever they are used to,
Score Card- 1-20 First Impression, 1-20 Beauty, 1-20 Modeling and Presentation, 1-20 Overall Appearance.
Glitz Photogenic- must be no smaller than 8 x 10 and be in protective sleeve
Extra photos may be entered at additional charge and highest scoring photo will be used.
